Our prayers and condolences goes out for Andy's wife Faye and his brothers and sisters and their families and his friends, neighbors and former co-workers. May Andy rest in the peace and love of Christ. Andy will be truly missed by his wife and children they looked after and all who knew Andy.

I was one of the many ‘little ones’ that Andy walked with over the years. I have great memories of riding around Fairview in the ‘buggy’ and taking trips with him to the Villa. He was so patient and kind. He had infinite patience with me. I will always remember him and think of him so fondly. Sending my love to Faye.

Would like to pass along condolences to the family of Andy. Knew Andy from the Sackville Down days and would occasionally see him at Andy's snack bar in the north end when he was on his lunch break and I was with my Dad delivering produce. Always a treat to be around. Rest in peace Andy

Andy and Faye were our neighbours for forty years. He certainly was a great source of entertainment over the years, from his quick wit, to the hilarious names he had for people (especially Politicians)….Faye was “the Warden”….to whatever new structure he put together on his lawn, to his sitting in a lawn chair at the edge of his lawn, fishing on Main Avenue. The kids loved him and he could control them easily without fuss. When he was able to join Faye and me on a shopping excursion to Woolco for $1.44 day, we loved it. He took charge of Jennifer, Cheryl and Michelle and had them lined up like little soldiers. I remember Michelle hurrying after supper to get out because “uncle Andy was only keeping the store (his back door) open for another ten minutes. He would dish out treats to them.
Andy was a great neighbour. Whenever David was outside working on a project, Andy would work right alongside with him. After David died, he was quick to offer any help needed by me or my mother-in-law.
I have many great memories of our old neighbour.
Our sincere sympathy to Faye and all of Andy’s family and friends….especially Jennifer and Cheryl.
