Obituary of Paul Arthur Dauphinee Sr.

DAUPHINEE, Paul Arthur Sr. - Age 68 of Timberlea, it is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Paul Arthur Dauphinee Sr. on March 30, 2023.  Born on August 23, 1954 in Whitehorse, N.W.T. he was the son of the late Bill and Anne Dauphinee.

Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many people. He grew up in Kentville, and then resided in Halifax for most of his grown up life.  He then moved to his Timberlea home, where he passed.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Vimy Legion, Branch 27, for many years, where he was Sargeant of Arms for a few years.  Paul loved spending time on the computer and spending the summers at Whispering Winds Campground.

Paul will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Dauphinee; sons, Michael Dauphinee, and John Cromwell; daughters, Shaylynn Cromwell and Amber Debai; many grandchildren; brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Paul Joseph Dauphinee Jr.

Arrangements and cremation haven been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, Halifax.  

In keeping with Paul’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  

A Celebration of Life will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 27, 3200 Kempt Road, Halifax.
