Obituary of Helen J. Mills

- 77, Halifax, passed away peacefully in Melville Lodge on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Born in Halifax on February 27, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Jessie (Ford) Mills. Helen is survived by brothers, Sonny (Anne), Lower Sackville, NS and David (Barbara), Winnipeg, Manitoba, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great- great niece. Helen was predeceased by brother, Donald. Arrangements are under the direction of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd, Spryfield (477-5601), where visitation well be held today from 7-9 p.m.. Funeral service well be held on Saturday, August 28 at 10 a.m from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place on Monday, August 30 at 2 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Melville Lodge for the care they gave to Helen and to the Small Option Home in Fairview.
