Obituary of Linda Rae Ohlhausen

63, Halifax, passed away November 1,2010 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Moose Jaw, SK., she was a daughter of the late Ray and Edith (Flett) Sheppard. She enjoyed bingo, travelling and camping. Linda is survived by husband, Richard “Dick”; son Jeff (Christine), Wellesley, ON.; daughter Catherine “Cathy” (Patrick), Halifax; brother Keith Sheppard, Moose Jaw, SK.; sister, Pat Cunningham (Jim), Edmonton, AB.; grandchildren Colby, Alyssa, Peyton, Millie; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday November 4. Funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Friday November 5 in St. Paul’s United Church, Old Sambro Rd., Rev. Jeannie Manning Stright officiating. Interment to take place in the St. John’s Anglican Cemetery Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenille Diabeties Association.
