Obituary of Gloria Gallichon

- 72, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary, surrounded by her loving family.Born October 28, 1938 in Gunning Cove, she was the daughter of the late Lovett and Elsie (Zinck) Goulden. Gloria inherited all of her mother’s best qualities, especially the same kind of ability for love and capacity for generosity beyond imagination.Gloria loved her family and friends so earnestly and unendingly that absolutey nothing could shake its tenacity or endurance. She is survived by her three children, Kenneth, Kevin, Clifford (Lisa), grandchildren, Dana and Charlene, sisters, Evelyn Cox and Doris “Dot” Griffiths, were so very close that they were like triplets of different ages, sharing everything that sisters shared. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry, big brother Leon. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), where a memorial service well be held today at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dianna Brett-Frye officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
