Obituary of Alexander "Alex" MacDonald

84, passed away December 16, 2010 in Arbourstone Enhanced Care. Born in Judique, Alex had moved and lived most of his adult life in Halifax. He worked at many jobs, a jack of all trades. For the last 25 years he drove taxi independently. He is the last surviving member of his family of six siblings. He leaves behind his good friend Elvie Myers. Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). By request there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be held for Alex at 11 am Tuesday from St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Judique, Father Allan MacMillan as celebrant with interment to follow in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery.Donations in memory may be made to the St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund.
