Obituary of Kevin Terrance Husbands Sr.

55, Halifax, passed away suddenly at home on December 21, 2010. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles W. Husbands and Edna Dorothy (Callander) Husbands-Upshaw. Kevin’s passion was music, in which he played for 46 years. He is survived by son Kevin T. Jr. “Buddy” (Jill), Halifax; daughters, Rhonda Husbands (Warren), Sambro, Tanya Husbands (Jermaine), Halifax, Melody Husbands (Jarred), Abbotsford, BC.; brothers, Charles Jr., Montreal, QE., Maxwell, Eric, both of Halifax; sisters, Yvonne Andrew, Buffalo, NY., Maxine Brown (Rev. Alfred Brown), NJ., Doris Smith, Halifax; grandchildren, Chelsea, Lydell, Ryan; future grandson Jayevon; companion Angela Lucas, Dartmouth , Janice Williams, (mother of three wonderful children, Buddy, Tanya and Melody); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kevin was predeceased by wife and love of his life Karen (Wilson) Husbands and brother LeRoy. Arrangements under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday December 29,2010 in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery.
