Obituary of Ronald "Ron" Arsenault

- 52, Halifax passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2011 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Ronald “Junior” and Doris (Hiller) Arsenault. He will lovingly be remembered and never forgotten by his life long companion, Donna Slaunwhite, son, Ryan and daughter Rhonda (James); step mom, Evelyn Arsenault; sisters Donna (Freeman)Walters, Gwen (Percy) Smith, Dale (Everett) Cameron, grandchildren, Tyler “Boss Man” and Hailey “Duckie”; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Beatrice Jennings. Arrangements are under the direction of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, (477-5601), where visitation will be held today from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
