Obituary of Kenneth Joseph Harnish

76, Halifax, passed away suddenly at home on January 11,2011. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Clayton and Kathleen (Forestall) Harnish. Kenneth is survived by loving wife Shirley (Wagner); sons Steven, Loas, Andrew (Janet), Bruce (Lisa) both of Grand Prairie, AB.; daughter Lorna Curnew (James), Halifax; stepson Scot Wagner (Ruth), stepdaughters Linda Dicks (Tom), Judi Pearson (Joe), all of Halifax; brother Frank (Millie), Kingston, ON.; sister Diane Barron (Nelson), Timberlea; grandchildren Joseph Lyons, Jamie and Stephanie Curnew, Jessica Prince, Cory Gorman; step grandchildren Megan and Troy Wagner, Jennifer Pearson, Bobi Dicks, Sarah Caldwell; great grandchild Kathleen Prince; step greatgrandchildren Kyle Dicks, Alexzandrya, Jonah and Isaac Caldwell, Jorja Dicks O’Rielly; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Kathleen (Wagner ) Harnish and son Michael. Arrangements under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601), where the family will be accepting visitors from 7-9 p.m. Friday January 14. No service by request, interment to take place a later date. Donations may be made to the Lung Association.
