70, Halifax, passed away suddenly, November 19, 2011 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Phyllis Oakley. He had been employed with Northwood Care until his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife Sheila; son; Frank, Victoria, BC.; and goddaughters; Sherrie and Diane Acker. No visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a funeral service will be held on Friday November 25, 2 p.m.with Pastor Gerald Mosher officiating.
