Obituary of Jane Elizabeth Moore

Moore, Jane Elizabeth- 74, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the QEII, New Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (O’Neil) Briand. She had worked at Sears for many years as a clerk. Jane loved playing bingo and going to the casino. She is survived by her eight children, Mike Poteri, Shawn Poteri, Kevin Moore, Jimmy Moore, John Moore, Mary Moore, Anne Moore, and David Moore; one brother, Harold, 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews, and her dear best friend, Verna Collins. She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Vince Moore. Arrangements are under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 10 AM from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS.
