65- Upper Sackville, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2011 in St. Vincent’s Guest Home. Born in Shelburne, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Jennie (Hallett) Pothier. She had lived in Woodville, Kings Co. She was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church and the Sackville Legion Br.# 162 Calais. She is survived by husband William “Bill”; sons Timmy and Michael, both of Annapolis Valley; daughters, Cathy, Alta.; Betty and Becky, both of Ont.; step daughter Anna Flemming (Bruce), Timberlea; brothers Charles (Donna) Mt. Uniacke, George (Heather), Lwr. Sackville; Pierre “Peter” (Bea), Edmonton Alta.; sisters; Mabel Munroe (Morris), Kinsac; Diane Harvey (John), Edmonton Atla.; Brenda Williams, Pugwash River, numerous grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 1st husband James Thomson; son Danny; daughter Janice, step son Karl Schultz; sisters Evelyn Pothier and Dorothy Elder. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601) where a funeral service will be held on Thursday September 29 at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
