Obituary of Joseph Gregory Joe Fleckney

Fleckney, Joseph Gregory “Joe” – 82, Halifax, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2011 at the Parkstone Enhanced Care, with his brother by his side. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Lavandier) Fleckney. Joe really loved the outdoors and making quilts. Joe is survived by his brother Arthur (Laura). He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Albert, Gerald, William “Billy” and sisters, Lena Covey, Julie Richard and brother-in-law-, Russell Richard. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. No visitation by request. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, September 26 at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel, interment to follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
