Obituary of Ina Mae Young

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom and Grandmother. She peacefully soared away on the wings of the angels on Monday, September 5, 2011. Born in West Dover, she was the daughter of the late John and Pheobe (Morash) Cleveland. She is survived by her two sons, Lionel John (Florence) and Eugene (Debbie) all of West Dover; daughter Elaine, Edmonton, AB. She loved all her grandchildren dearly - Lionel Jr. (Leanne), Michelle (Brad), Melissa, Randy, Natasha and Amy and her great-grandchildren Makayla Rose, Jeffrey, Keirsten, Liam, Makayla and Aiden. She was also survived by her sister Jean, brother Frank and step-brothers James Stewart (Pat) & Gary Carlton. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Eugene. “Nan” as she was known to us had a radiant smile, enjoyed dancing and laughing with family and friends. She loved a good game of 45’s and Bingo and having her family for dinner gatherings. Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601), where visitation will be held both today, September 7th and Thursday, Sept. 8th 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral service to take place, Friday, September 9th at 11am from the funeral home chapel, Rev. Anna Hoeg officiating, reception to follow. Committal will take place at St. James Anglican Cemetery, West Dover. The family would like to thank the staff at Glades for the wonderful care she received.
