Obituary of Vera Ethel Saxton

SAXTON, Vera Ethel, - 86, Halifax, passed away on August 9, 2011, at Arborstone Enhanced Care. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Doris (Grantham) Norris. Vera is survived by her loving husband, James: son, George; Halifax; sisters, Madeline Koch, Tarpen Springs Fl. and Bartina Barett, Fredericton, NB.; granddaughter Tara and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Herbert and Aubrey; sister, Mildred Hyrtle. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477-5601), where a private family service will be held at a later date.
