Slaunwhite, “DoDo” Carl Thomas: 72, Halifax, passed away at home on August 13, 2011, surrounded by his family. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Carl H. and Annie L. (Crossman) Slaunwhite. DoDo is survived by his wife, Loretta (Murphy), his sons, Keith (Lois Slaunwhite), Kirk (Paula Drysdale), and Kyle (Liz Saccary), all of Halifax, brothers, Dan Evans, Halifax, and Joseph Evans, Halifax, sisters, Shirley MacPherson, Halifax, Carolyn Weeks, Dartmouth, and Margaret Weeks (Robert), Porter’s Lake, as well as his grandchildren, Tristan, Katlyn, Tim, Laura, Jesse, Christopher, Brandon, and Brooklyn. He was predeceased by his parents. Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601).
