Obituary of Raymond Thomas Pete

Pete, Raymond Thomas: 73, Spryfield, passed away in the QEII Health Sciences Centre on August 6, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Born January 1, 1938, he was a son of the late Thomas Pete and the late Linda Sampson. Raymond had worked for the City of Halifax (HRM) for 33 years. He is survived by his brother, Albert Pate (Sherri), cousins, Dolores Greeley and Kenneth McGregor (Freda), niece, Dawn Pate, nephew, Thomas Pate, as well as several second cousins and their families. He was predeceased by his father and mother, step-father, Lawrence Sampson, brother, Father Ronald Pete, and close cousin, Joe McGregor. Arrangements are under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Spryfield, N, on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10 AM, with Fr. Frank Pellerin as celebrant. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS.
