Carlos, “Jay” Kerry Jonathan: 42, Halifax, passed away unexpectedly in Moncton, NB, on July 31, 2011. Born in New Glasgow, NS, he was a son of Daisy MacLean (Atwell). Jay is survived by a large family, including his mother, Daisy, his children, Jennifer, Jordan, Brianna, and Jamal, his siblings, Wade MacLean (Mary), Toronto, Sally Atwell (Billy), New Glasgow, Charlene Atwell, Vancouver, BC, Sgt. Robyn Atwell, Halifax, Cst. Andrew Morris (Christine), Hammonds Plains, Claudette Paris (Billy), New Glasgow, and Colin Paris (Krista), Halifax, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jay will fondly be remembered and sadly missed by his many, many friends throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Arrangements are under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 4 PM, with Rev.
