Obituary of Ermnie Margaret Dunlap

Dunlap, Ermnie Margaret - 67, Brookfield, passed away peacefully at home on July 30th, 2011, with her loving family at her side. Ermnie was born in Dean Settlement to the late Clinton and Kathleen (Dean) Dunlap. Ermnie was a loving, giving, generous and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed life, loved to laugh and shared her love generously with all those who she met. Ermnie was survived by her family: daughters; Brenda Stewart, Nancy Dean, Debbie Park, and Tonya Dean, grandchildren Micheal & Amanda Dean, and Megan & Raymond Newhook, niece Holly Stweart, great-grandchildren Abigail & Liam Dean, sisters; Irene Stuart, Priscilla Spence and Darlene Reed, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Stewart, son Dennis, daughter baby Cindy, sisters Velma and Sarah and brothers Joey, Russell and Seymor. The family would like to extend a personal Thank-You to the staff of the VG, QEII and Truro hospitals for their extraordinary care and support. Cremation had taken place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd.; 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), there will be no flowers or visitation upon request. The Service will be held on August 4th at 2pm at the Riverside United Church, 9691 Mooseriver Road, with Annika Sangster officiating. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated, as Ermnie had made a personal donation as a final wish.
