Obituary of Joan Marie Kellough

Halifax, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax, she was the only child of the late William and Rita (Havill) Colford. She is survived by daughter, Debra Kellough (Randall O’Shea); son, David (former wife, Margeret); adopted daughter, Mary Richards; grandsons, Craig, Dennis, Brian (Kelly); granddaughter, Denna Beaman; great-granddaughter, Quinn and Bailey Kellough; great-grandsons, Braden Kellough and Cody Stewert. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis J. Kellough. The family would like to thank the staff of 8.4 QEII, and her special angels, Genivieve, Lori, and Ronda. Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 22 at 10 AM from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 2267 Brunswick Street. Burial will take place in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Patrick’s Church.
