Obituary of Rebecca Ada Yarn

Yarn, Rebecca Ada- 91, Halifax passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Melville Lodge Care Center, with her loving family by her side. Born in English Harbour West, NL, she was a daughter of the late Joshua and Harriett (Osborne) Power. Rebecca will be sadly missed by her daughters, Marina, Springfield, NS and Effie (Arthur) Liscombe, NS, daughter in law Patsy,Halifax, grandchildren, George, Angela, Kellylynn, Richard and great grandchildren, Ryan, Ali, Darcy and Amanda, brother, Bertram, and sister, Annie. She was predeceased by her husband George, son, Clifford, grandson, Clifford, brothers, Harold, Clarence, Samuel, Walt and William, and sister, Bessie. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the Staff at Melville Lodge for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601). By request, there will be no visitation or service.
