Obituary of David Waldron

Waldron, David Robert:  63, Halifax.  It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Waldron announce his sudden passing at his home on January 22, 2012.  He was a son of the late Lawrence and Jean Waldron of Ketch Harbour.  David is survived by his daughter, Nicolle, son Bobby, sister, Vicki, brother, Scott and 4 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Kim, and brother, Mark.  A heartfelt thank you to his sister, Vicki, for her love, support, and care for Dad over the past 5 years, and to his many close friends of his place of residence for always taking the time to laugh and visit with Dad.  He will always be remembered for his great wit, charm, compassion and love to many.    Cremation has taken place under the direction of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601).  A private burial will take place at a later date during the weather Dad loved best.  In lieu of flowers, condolences may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Words of comfort and tributes may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com.    "We love you so much, and you will be sadly missed, but we know in our hearts you are finally at rest after suffering so many years with pain and illness; you are at peace now and can spread your wings with your baby girl."
