Obituary of Walter Rose

ROSE, Walter – 64, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born in Hermitage, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Wallace and Mary Rose. He will lovingly be remembered and never forgotten by his wife, Shirlene; son, Gregory; step mother, Vi; brothers, Cyril (Sheila), Jimmy (Geraldine), David and Perry; sisters, Cora (Bucky), Marie (Phillip), Darlene (Kevin), Maryann (Darrell), Grace (Jim); several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Mike. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Friday, February 3 from 7-9 PM. A reception will follow the visitation at the family home, 17C Dentith Road, Spryfield. Burial will be held at a later date.
