Obituary of Harold Victor Marryatt

80, Halifax, passed away peacefully February 28, 2012 in the Camp Hill Veterans, Memorial Building, QEII. Born in Sambro he was a son of the late Phillip and Clyda (Hamm) Marryatt. He is survived by sons, Victor (Lysa), Phillip (Roberta), both of Halifax; Bradley (Shirley), Newfoundland; daughter, Tammy (David), Halifax; brothers, Clyde (Judy), Newfoundland; Vernie, Bedford; Rick, Hatchet Lake; sisters, Donna, Prospect; Frances, Annapolis Valley; grandchildren, Tara-lee, Chadd, Daniel, Robert, Amanda, Kelvin, Taylor, Nicole, Natalie; great-grandchildren, Brady, Kimberley; several nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by wife, Barbara (Smith); brother, Danny. Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd. Halifax, where visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday March 1. Funeral service Friday March 2 at 1p.m., from the funeral home chapel, Rev. Russell Saulnier officiating, with reception to follow. Interment to take place in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Donations in memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
