Obituary of Bernard "Bernie" Gerome Izzard

63, Halifax, passed away peacefully March 22, 2012 at the Arborstone Enhanced  Care. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Leslie and Violet (Pelley) Izzard.  He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly (Naugler); sons, Rodney Naugler (Jennifer); Bernie Izzard, Christopher Izzard (Sarah), all of Halifax; Matthew Wiseman (Nicole), Rawdon; daughter, Brandi Naugler, Halifax, sister, Pamela  Martell (Justin), Harrietsfield,  grandchildren, Chelsey, Breanna, Donald, Bailey, Jai-Leigh, Kyler, Chace, Colton, Deon, Logan, Mason, Jordan, Julian, Isiah, Noah, Kali-Tyler, great granddaughter, Kaylee, nephew, Donald Martell. Bernard was predeceased by brother, Harold and brother in  infancy. No visitation by request. Arrangments are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd. Halifax (477-5601), where a funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m., Rev. Allen Frye officiating. Memorial donations may be made to MD Society of Canada.
