Obituary of Estella Bernadette Ivanko

Halifax, with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of a loving wife, mother and friend on  March 29, 2012 at the V.G. Site QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Bernadette Logan. Estella worked in retail at Winners, Halifax. She was survived by loving husband, Michael; daughters, Tara Ivanko, Tammy Currie; sister, Rosemary Hirschfeld, parents in law, Tony and Eleanor, brother in law, Allan, sister in law Christine (Warren) Algee, all of Halifax; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Gordon Logan Jr.. No visitation by request. Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday April 4, at 10 a.m., from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Michael’s Ave. Halifax. Father Frank Pellerin as celebrant. Donations in memory, may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
