Obituary of George Hollett

Hollett, George Philip, 64 – Halifax, born in Hermitage, NL, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2012 at the VG in Halifax, NS. He was the son of the late John and Hannah (Piercey) Hollett. George is survived by his loving wife Maureen, son Jason(Trina), daughter Shauna (Paul), brothers, Don (Evelyn); Allan (Dora); Ward (Lora); Jack (Evelyn); Austin (Diane) and sisters, Wilhelmina (Wilfred Wiseman); Della (Weston Crant); Emily (Winston Wheeler) and grandchildren, Riley; Sierra; Olivia and Deagan, uncle Jordan (Kathleen) and many nieces and nephews. He worked for over 30 years as a longshoreman. George was and avid outdoorsman, loved fishing, hunting, tending to his garden and spending time at the country home. The funeral will take place April 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Anglican Church, Spryfield, with reverend Diana Frye officiating. Reception and interment to follow.  Funeral arrangements are under the care of J.
