Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Relf
RELF, Elizabeth Anne, R.N. – Halifax, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (Woodroffe) Relf.
Elizabeth was a graduate of the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked in Montreal and Vancouver early in her career and later took an early retirement from the QEII Health Sciences Center in 1997. She enjoyed travelling and was an avid golfer. She was an active member of Emmanuel Anglican Church, Spryfield and a volunteer at Melville Lodge.
She is survived by brothers, Gordon (Susan), Dartmouth and Kenneth, Spryfield; nephews, Craig, Paul, Troy and Christopher; 2 grandnephews and 2 grandnieces; and many friends.

Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10 from 7-9 PM. A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on Monday, June 12 at 1:30 PM in Emmanuel Anglican Church, Spryfield, Rev. Dianna Brett-Frye officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall; interment to be held in Emmanuel Anglican Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in memory may be made to Emmanuel Anglican Church.
