Obituary of Arthur Keltie Baldwin
Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, formerly of Herring Cove, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2012. Born in Saint John, NB. On February 24, 1918, he was the oldest son of the late Arthur Nicholas and Selina (Collier) Baldwin. Arthur served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War on the RCN Corvettes in the North Atlantic. He is survived by his children Bill, Oxford; Charlotte Baldwin; Jean Anne MacDonald (Leo); James, all of Halifax; brother David, Mississauga, Ont.; sisters Anne Henderson, Guelph, Ont.; Marjorie "Midge" Clarke, Saint John, NB.. He will also be sadly missed by eight grandchildren and one great grandson. He was predeceased by his wife Edythe (Pelham) Baldwin in 1981, his daughter- in-law, Catherine Baldwin in 2009. Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held on Thursday August 30 from 1-2 p.m., with funeral service at 2 p.m., reception to follow in funeral home lounge. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Veterans Memorial Gardens at the Camp Hill Hospital, Bide Awhile Shelter or to your local animal shelter.
