Obituary of Thomas "Tom" Eugene Clyke

61, Halifax, passed away September 9, 2012 at the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Walter and Dorothy (Hamilton) Clyke. Tom is survived by his loving wife Eileen (Herritt); son, Troy (Michelle), Dartmouth; daughter, Cantrell (Willie), Halifax; siblings, Evelyn Borden, Geraldine Clyke, George, Shirley Mahar, Kathleen Morse, Darrell, Margaret Clyke, Richard, all of Truro, Grace Gero, Brandon, Man., Fred, Marion Scott, both of Mississauga, Ont., Robert, Brampton, Ont., Benjamin, Ottawa, Ont., Joseph, Barbara Clyke, both of Toronto, Ont.; grandchildren, Jade Clyke, Dion Holland; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Walter, John; sisters, Vivian Mingo, Dorothy Clyke. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held Thursday September 13, from 12-2 p.m., with memorial service at 2 p.m., reception to follow.
