Obituary of Justin Purcell

    Purcell, Justin William Joseph:  25, Halifax, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 17, 2012.  Born in Halifax, he was a son of Julia Corkum and Scott Purcell.  Justin had been employed as a Q.A with HB Studios, later being employed by Frontier Solutions.  Video games were Justin’s passion both at work and at home.  He will be remembered for his compassionate personality and as a person with a huge heart, who always helped anyone in need.  He is survived by his mother, Julia, Bridgewater, his father, Scott, Alberta, his only sister and best friend, Amanda Purcell, Bridgewater, NS, as well as grandmothers, Madeline Corkum and Hilda Purcell, uncles, John, Tony,  Russel, Chris, Mark, and Jimmy and family, aunts, Janet, Judy, Cheryl Lyn,Louise, and Debbie, and his many cousins, Megan, Dylan, Crystal, Nathan, Stephen, Kirby, Barbara, and Michael.             Cremation has taken place and visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 7-9 PM at JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601).  A memorial service in memory of Justin will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11 AM from the funeral home chapel, with a reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Kids Help Phone, Food Banks, or any mental health organization.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
