Obituary of Loretta Jeanette "Lottie" Dawson

90, Halifax, it is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we regret to announce that our beloved mother passed away on October 22, 2012 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Yarmouth, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie Cromwell. Lottie was the most amazing Mom and grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by sons; James (Irmeli), Montreal, Que., Robert (Betty-Ann) Ottawa, Richard, Alberta, daughters; Ethel, Toronto, Ont., Agnes (Gerald), Dartmouth, Jackie (John), Muriel, Loretta all of Halifax, Shelia (Livingston), North Carolina; grandchildren Debbra, Norman, Toronto, Ont, Angela, Montreal, Que., Devonna (Ross), Halifax, Dougie, Truro, Tony (Gina), Alberta, Robbie (Ellie), Ottawa, Charlotte (Peter), Kentville, Jean, Dartmouth; great grandchildren Owen, Marques, Kahlyn, Keagan, Jacob, Sienna; nephews Clay (Karen), Halifax, Wayne (Jacqueline) New York, and other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Doug Dawson; brothers Keith, Howard, James, Roy and Percy. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday October 28. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
