Obituary of Arthur Barnes Pardy

84, Halifax, passed away November 9, 2012 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII . Born in Harbour Mills NL., he was a son of the late William and Avalina Pardy. Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Annie, son; Darren (Stephanie), Bathurst, NB., daughter; Patricia, Ottawa, ON., brother; Embrose (Myrtle) Conerbrook, NL., grandson; Taj, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers; Clarence, Ralph, Joseph, Angus and Wallace. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). No visitation by request. A tribute service will be held at 12:45 p.m. at the Army, Navy, Airforce Club, Unit 373, Maynard St., funeral service to follow. A reception will follow service. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
