Obituary of Frank Richard Drysdale

Drysdale, Frank Richard "Frankie"-54, Halifax, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 23, 2012.  He was the son of the late Frank Drysdale Sr. and Verna Smith-Drysdale. Frankie worked at Canada Post for 34 years as a Letter Carrier. He loved fishing and hunting, playing a good game of hockey or baseball and was a big Boston Bruin Fan, he also enjoyed working with his hands and creating some special wooden projects. He was known for his Saturday night bonfires playing his harmonica or spoons to the Golden Oldies. Frankie was a loving husband, father, son and friend. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 25 years, Lorraine Andrews, son, Sean (Chantel Fisher), daughter, Amara (Shane Boland), sisters, Sharon McGrath, Brenda Brownell (Tremaine), Wendy Myatt (Mike) and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of J.A Walker Funeral Home(2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, (477-5601), where visitation will be held after cremation on Thursday, December 27 from 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation in Frank's memory may be made to the Lymphoma Foundation of Canada.
