Obituary of Harry Blair MacLeod

86, Halifax, passed away December 28, 2012 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Kinross, Price Edward Island, he was a son of the late Angus and Catherine (Lamont) MacLeod. Harry is survived by his sons; Glen (Lyne), Chester, Jim (Laurie), Ottawa, ON., John, Halifax, Bob, Vancouver, BC., brother; Kenneth (Elsie), Kinross, PE., sisters; Gladys Freeze, Penobsquis, NB., Mary (Douglas) Cameron, Woodstock, NB., grandchildren; Leland, Skye, Liam, Keillor and Eilish. He was predeceased by wife Laura (Bennett); brother John, Wesley, David and Ewen, sisters; Isabel Furness and two sisters in infancy. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601). In respect for Harry’s preference and humility, there will be no formal service or reception. The interment will be at a later date, and will be attended by his sons. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. The family expresses a sincere apprecitation to the caring staff at the Halifax Infirmary Neurology Unit 8.1.
