Obituary of Mary Louise LeBlanc (Eisan)

86 of Sambro, passed away peacefully with family by her sideon February 21, 2013.  She was the daughter of the late Earl and Helen Eisan. Mary resided in Sambro, previously living in the communities of Portuguese Cove and Ketch Harbour, where she had many long time friends.  Being a homemaker with a great love of baking, she was always ready and willing to help with church functions and the volunteer fire department ladies auxiliary of which she was a member.  One of Mary’s great joys was her Wednesday night bowling league where she cherished her many friends and will be dearly missed by all.  Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Edgar, sons, William (Holly); Robert ( Nancy); both of Sambro. Daughter, Mary Ellen (Stephen) Upper Stewiacke, son-in-law James Gray; grandchildren Bradley (Rob); Andrew (Chelsea); Trisha (Brett); Jenna; Matthew and Nicholas.  Great grandson Grayson. Also survived by sisters, Sybil (Robert) Spriggs, Bedford; Carole (Norman) Rodgers, East Jeddore.  Brothers, Kenneth Eisan, Halifax; and Leroy (Joan) Eisan Clementsport. Special brother Michael Nelson (Terri) ON. ; Sister-in-laws’ Moria Eisan, Courtenay, BC and Helen Eisan, Halifax.  Brother-in-law Gary Smith, ON and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Juanita Smith and Sheila Pompeo and brothers Earl; Melvyn, infant brother Carl and sister-law Grace.  Cremation has taken place.  No visitation by request.  Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Ketch Harbour on March 2nd, 2013 at 11 A.M. with interment to follow in the church cemetery.  The family would like to thank the staff of 4.1 at the Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Center, Halifax for all the kindness and compassion shown to Mary and her family.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd.  Halifax, Nova Scotia.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St.  Peters Church, Ketch Harbour, C/O 151 Hebridean Dr. Herring Cove, N.S.
