Obituary of Freeman Edgar Levy

Levy, Freeman Edgar- 85, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2013 in the V.G. Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Demus and Beatrice (Hurshman) Levy.He is survived by his son, Paul (Bernice) Levy, daughter, Darlene, granddaughter, Michelle Levy; sister, Shirley, brother, Kenny. He was predeceased by sisters, Beatrice, Eileen, Beulah, brothers, Perlis, Aubrey, Orland, Freddie, Lester, Everett and Earl. Freeman enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was the founding member of Giffins Bottle Exchange, and he retired from Dave’s Bottle Exchange, he was formally of KetchHarbour. Arrangements are under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, NS (477.5601), where visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 10 AM at the funeral home chapel, reception to follow. Interment to take place in St. John’sCemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff on 8.4 of the QEIIHospital for there care of Freeman.
