Obituary of Shirley M. Newcombe

Newcombe, Shirley Margaret- 83, Halifax, passed away on Wednesday, June 5,2013 in the Melville Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Redmond) Watson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother. She will lovingly be remembered and never forgotten by her daughters, Sharon, June (Archie) Crane, Valerie (Dennis) Chitouris; sons, Leo, Walter and Ernest, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Shirley was predeceased by husband, Walter, sister, Doris and brother, Charles. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), by Shirley request, there will be no visitation or services.
