Obituary of Llewellyn J. "Big Daddy" Henneberry

85, Sambro, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24 in the VG Site QEII. Born in Sambro, he was a son of the late Gustavis and Helena (Twohig). Big Daddy was a very passionate fisherman all of his life. He loved to spend time in his building making creations with seashells and glitter, his favorite creation was "Mussel Men". He also enjoyed yodeling and playing guitar while singing with his boys. He especially loved a good argument with his sons and would not back down. Big Daddy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children, Suzanne (Edwin) Kirk, Lucinda (Kevin) Chinn, Avery (Sharon), Wesley (Melissa), Marcel (Sherry), Clarke (Dawn) and Libby (Benny) DeVine; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold, Gus, Cyril and Danny; sisters, Nettie and Velma. He was predeceased by his wife, Ivy (Hart); brothers, Allan, Norman and Charles; sisters, Nora Baker and Vera Duggan. A celebration of Big Daddy’s life will take place on Friday, June 28 at 3 PM at 20 Basinview Road, Sambro.
