Obituary of Grant William Redden
REDDEN, Grant William Joseph – 72, Halifax, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2013 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in West Gore, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Charles and Lilla Mae (Barnaby) Redden.
Grant was employed with Enviro Bate. He was a dedicated family man who was an avid sports fan, enjoyed watching wrestling and playing cards.
He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 40 years, Golda (MacRae); sons, Samuel (Kelly), Daniel, Grant (Tracy); daughter, Melissa (Craig); grandchildren, Tyrone, Chantel, Dorian, Richard, Harmony, Martina and Aurora; brothers, John and Kenneth; sisters, Marguerite, Pauline (Joe), Shirley (Foster); several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law from the Redden and MacRae family trees. He was predeceased by brothers, Raymond, Merle, Ford and his twin brother Floyd and Charles; sisters, Kathleen and Annie; niece and nephews, Laurie, Jeffrey, Nolan, Stephen, Manson, Linda, Martin, Calvin, Clyde, Jimmy and Dale.

Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where visitation will take place on Sunday, August 4 from 2-4 PM. Interment in New Ross will take place at a later date. No flowers by request.
