Obituary of Mary Elizabeth "Jean" Cunningham

Cunningham, Mary Elizabeth "Jean" – 93 of Halifax, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2013, with her loving family by her side. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary (Hansen) Carpenter. Jean was an avid golfer & curler; she was an excellent bridge player and loved animals. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by daughter, Mary Patricia Jean Cunningham (Paul Sharp), adopted daughters, Karen Sexton Pedersen and Robin Sexton ( Jason) Mayes, sister, Helen Maloney, grandchildren, Patrick Donald and Caroline Elizabeth, many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews whom she  loved very much.She was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Wilbert Cunningham.  Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd, where a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
