Obituary of Jeannie Wournell

Wournell, Jeannie Amelia: 45, Halifax, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2013.  Born September 22, 1967 in Halifax, NS, she was a daughter of the late Patricia and Stanley Wournell Sr.  Jeannie was born and raised in Spryfield, NS, where she had many friends.  Her joy for life and positive attitude affected many people, as Jean was a very happy-go-lucky person who loved to make people around her laugh.  She loved music, singing, dancing, and drawing, at which she was very talented. Jean loved to work with children, spending almost a decade assisting handicapped school children with the Access-A-Bus program. Jeannie's kind soul is and will continue to be missed by her friends and family.  She is survived by sisters, Karen Jollimore (Scott), Susan Ross (Brian), and Cathy Wournell-Towill (Rosie), brother, Stanley Wournell Jr., nieces, Jamie and Jessica, great- niece, Emma, and nephews, Gary and John.  She was predeceased by her parents.             Arrangements are under the care and direction of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), with visitation from 1-2 pm, Saturday, September 7, 2013.  A memorial service will be held in memory of Jeannie will follow at 2pm in the chapel, with Rev.
