Obituary of Mary Catherine Vienneau

Vienneau (MacDonald), Mary Catherine - Originally of Antigonish, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the age of 87 at home in Halifax, the way she wanted it. She was made of love and laughter. She is survived by sons, Frank (Kristie), Halifax and Robert, Greenwood; daughters, Catherine Piper (Terry), Halifax and Anne Lattasch (Joachim), Cologne; granddaughters, Mary Beth Piper, Fredericton; Marlen and Karin Lattasch, Cologne; godchildren, Marlene Cheng, Victoria, and Leonard Hanrahan, Antigonish. She is also survived by her grandchildren of the heart, Sophia and Patrick, as well as countless nieces and nephews whom she cherished.  She was predeceased by her husband, John and her daughter, Clare. The family would like to thank Dr Maureen White, Dr Judy Mader, the entire staff of 8.4 and the Palliative Care team at the Halifax Infirmary. In keeping with Mary’s wishes the funeral services will be private.  Donations in memory can be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA.
