Obituary of Gerald Francis DeWolfe

DEWOLFE, Gerald Francis – 53, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII with his family by his side. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Francis and Melina (LeBlanc). Gerald was a father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Gerald will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by son, Garnett MacDonald; sisters, Marie Parker (Bobby), Donna (Danny) Bowden, Carolyn DeWolfe, Betty (Gerald) Bowden, Claire DeWolfe, Lynn (Tony) Beals, and brother, Richard (Mary) DeWolfe; grandson, Gage,  many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by nephew, Gregory Martin. Arrangements are under the care of J.Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers donation in Gerald’s memory may be made to Liver Foundation of Nova Scotia.
