Obituary of Iris Teresita Walsh

87, Waverley, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Iris was born in Ramea, NL on October 6, 1926 but lived in St. John’s for most of her life. She was living in Waverley, NS for the last nine years.  Leaving to mourn her are son, Alexander "Sandy" Walsh; daughter-in-law, Karen Reid and grandchildren, Erica and Deven Walsh; as well as a large number of close friends in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard George Walsh. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Iris may be made to the SPCA.
