Obituary of Thabang Tshabalala

Tshabalala  Thabang "Tee"  - 25 of Halifax. It is with great sadness that the family announces his sudden passing on February 9, 2014. Born in Zimbabwe, the greater part of his life was spent in Halifax. Survived by his beloved companion, Melissa Jollimore; daughter, Savannah; mother, Lily Nyajeka; brother, Thabiso; sister Rethabile; grandparents, Theodora Karumbidza, Shingai Nyajeka, and his extended Jollimore and Thomas family and many loving family and friends. Thabang was known to all as a kind, respectful, genuine, giving and helpful man who always had a smile on his face. Thabang’s  greatest treasure was his beautiful daughter Savannah, he also enjoyed spending time with his niece, Anasia and nephew, Malakhi, known to all the children as Uncle Bing. Thabang attended Saint Patrick’s High School, and was a graduate of NSCC. During his time he took part in many different athletic groups, he enjoyed the finer things in life and spending quality time with his family and friends. Arrangements are under the care of J.Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road (477-5601) where visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, from 12-2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.  With a funeral service to be held on Friday, February 14 at 2 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle Church with Pastor John Cheyne officiating.
