Obituary of Winnifred B. Francis

79, Hatchet Lake, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Winnifred (Wilson) Ware. Winnie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Luke, Hatchet Lake; sister, Gladys Clements, Halifax. She was predeceased by her brother, Harold "Roy". Cremation has taken place under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. In keeping with Winnie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
