Obituary of Wheena Winnifred Fader

Age 80, passed away peacefully in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, on March 22, 2014. Born on March 24, 1933 in East Dover, she was the loving daughter of the late Hugh and Lillian Graves. She is survived by daughters, Deborah Perras, Heather Fader (Allen) and Diane Roberts (Thayne); sister Joyce Olmstead and son in law Barry Creamer; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Wheena was predeceased by husband Cecil; daughter Marlene Creamer; son Darrell and brother Eldred Graves. She was retired from Dalhousie University. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601). Visitation will be Thursday March 27 from 7-9pm. A celebration of life will take place on Friday March 28 at 2pm at the Anglican Parish of St. Timothy, Hatchet Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation of Canada or a charity of one’s choice.
