Obituary of Irene Stella "Renee" Drummond

Age 71, Halifax, passed away March 23, 2014 in the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late James and Stella (Deleon) Drummond. She is survived by children Alfred (Marie), Roxanne Petrossi (Lanny), Lorraine Drummond, all of Halifax, Della Walker (Terry), Windsor; brother, Charles (Maureen), Calgary, Alta; sisters, Evelyn, Violet, Thelma Hill (Robert), all of Halifax; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren, plus one expecting; three God children; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Harry Pelley. Arrangements are under the care of  J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601) 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a service of remembrance will be held Friday March 28 at 11 a.m., Pastor Lloyd Grant officiating. Reception to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be sent to Canadian Cancer Society.
