Obituary of Charles Desveaux

Age 92, passed away at the Halifax Infirmary April 2, 2014. Born in Halifax May 1, 1921, Charles was a son of the late Harry and Mary Desveaux. He is survived by sister Mary Rose Triglet, Inverness; sons Marshall (Donna) Desveaux, and John (Robynne Macintosh) Desveaux both of Bedford as well as step-grandson Jonathan Macintosh of Toronto. The city is where Charles was the happiest and he loved to ride his mountain bike around Halifax taking in the sights and sounds. He especially loved the Halifax harbor front where he would frequent on his bike. Charles was predeceased by his loving wife "Peggy" Marguerite (Hartlen) Desveaux; brothers Henry and Joseph; sister Mary Yvonne. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd. Halifax, (477-5601). Visitation will take place Friday April 11 at 11am followed by a celebration of life at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow.
